Three years
Today is the day Dennis and I have chosen as our anniversary. Neither of us are obsessed with celebrating specific days, so we chose May 21 because that was the day of our first date. (I think…) We could have picked the week before, when we first met, or any day of the weeks and months that followed. Do we celebrate our first kiss, the first time he did my laundry, or the day I didn’t argue when my friends called him my boyfriend? What really matters is that I love him dearly, and I have felt that way for somewhere around three years.
