in love with downtown crossing

Boston is pretty awesome

Lately I’ve been feeling quite restless. I love San Francisco and I’ve lived & studied in the bay area most of my life. Little things about San Francisco that were just flies have become giant attack mosquitoes (cold nights, traffic, tourists getting in the way of where I’m going, etc). I need a little time away so I can come back and appreciate all the wonderful things this place has to offer. So… I’ll be in Boston for 10 days working in a new Y! office. I’m looking forward to the change of pace and expect to get a ton of work done on my current project.

I’ll get to watch Amanda Palmer (of The Dresden Dolls) perform in her home town with the Boston Pop Orchestra. No doubt I’ll be esploder the day of the show. Are there any recommendations for entertainment while I’m there?

Hit my pownce account to hear the D-Dolls’ “Boston” from their new album, “No, Virginia”. (get individual songs)

Bye for now SF.

Congrats on making the jump to Boston — and I’m jealous that you’re getting to see Amanda with the Pops..!

If Man Ray club were still open, I’d suggest going. I think the people behind it are still organizing events around town, though. There’s a list of such events here:
