Happy turkey day! Someday I’d love to try tofurkey and turduken. Sadly, this is not the year. Anyone had experiences with either of these?

For those of you who never experienced the turkey hand as a kid (or want to relive it), watch this video to learn how to make a turkey. I thought that every child did this in art class, but some schools for some *weird* reason don’t expose their students to this classic craft.

This is my favorite way to eat thanksgiving dinner:
Thanksgiving sandwich
1 dinner roll
1 slice turkey (or ham or tofurkey)
1 slice canned cranberry sauce
2 tbs gravy
2 scoops creamy mashed potatoes

Directions: Split dinner roll in half. Layer all ingredients on top of the bottom half of the roll. Apply top half of roll. Enjoy sandwich with spiced cider.

I didn’t see these at the Tribeca film fest–I found them on vyc. I have a lot of thoughts about my trip, though I’ve been too busy to write them down. I’ve caught a cold and have been operating at around 50% efficiency. Hopefully this weekend I’ll feel better and have a bit of time.
